In my extreme moments of stupidity, I brought nothing but pain and heartache
to a man who did nothing but love and care for me. What kind of a person does
that?
I am where I am because I paid no attention to his words of wisdom.
I sincerely pray he forgave me. If only the GENERAL! Knew how much I loved
and respected him.
May my Father rest in peace. Amen.

I HAVE READ YOUR WORK OF CRITICISM ABOUT CANONANIZATION IN MODERN AFRICAN LITERATURE,WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS WHY DID AFRICAN POETS ADOPT MORDENISM? DIDN'T THEY THOUGHT THAT BY SO DOING MAKING AFRICAN LITERATURE TO BE DEPENDENT ON EUROPEAN SETTING?HOW CAN LITERATURE STUDENTS COME TO KNOW THAT AFRICAN LITERATURE HAD IT'S OWN ROOTS?

I have read your critique on contemporary African literature but I would request you to shed more light on the recent African writers writing away from home .We very much know that a number of the are victims of cultural shock but still they are writing about Africa. An example is Ken Kamoche and his short story collection A Fragile Hope.
